With great sorrow the lord has called upon our angel Leona Michelle Walls 35, from Oilmont, Mt. Leona passed away on August 28, 2016 in Great Falls, Mt.
Wake/Rosary were held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Enemy Killer Recreation Center. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Enemy Killer Recreation Center with interment Lodge Pole Cemetery. Leona was born May 5, 1981 in Great Falls, Mt. to John Franklin Walls Sr. and Karla Jean Gregory. She received her education at Sunburst Elementary School and followed with high school at North Toole County High School and graduated in 1999.
She was a member of the United States Army and served a tour of duty in Iraq. She was also a member of American Legion Post 73 Sweet Grass with her father John. She was an enrolled member of the Assiniboine Tribe in Ft. Belknap, where she was honored as a Native American warrior in 2005.
Leona was loved by so many family and friends. She loved to travel whether for work or family. Leona had the biggest heart. She would go out of her way to help family and friends. When she walked into the room her smile and charismatic personality lit it up. She was very artistic; she made the best homemade cards that even had her own Hallmark signature on them.
She is survived by John Sr. and Karla Walls parents; Older brother, Joseph Walls, his children (Emma & Quincy); Younger brother, John Jr. Walls, his daughter (Lily Sue); Uncle Jason (Kristie) Head; Uncle Thomas Walls; Auntie's Patricia Blaine, Lynn Walls, Kathy Katzke, Tammy Head; and Grandmother Thelma Long Fox Head, and her precious dog Tika; and numerous cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by Syble Ginsburg (grandmother); Joe Walls (grandfather); Bill Gregory (grandfather); Uncles Merle Head, Alfred Head, Leo Gregory and Charles Walls..
