Put on your walking shoes and join the group that will walk from the Hogeland Catholic Church to the Turner Park in recognition of Suicide Awareness. If you would like to leave your vehicle in Turner, a bus will be available to take you out to the church to begin the walk. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 24th at the Catholic Church. At 2:00 p.m. guest speaker, Clint Malarchuk, retired Canadian hockey player will speak. If you are unable to walk or would rather not walk, slow moving four wheelers , side by sides, or golf carts are welcome. Weather reports are showing unfavorable weather so dress warm.

Don, Bonnie, Shelly, and Vanessa Harmon were to Havre on Friday to celebrate Eleanor Harmon-Bickel’s 101st birthday. She had a wonderful day of photos and celebrations.

Ginny McCracken of Billings was out and spent the weekend with her Grandmother, Virginia.

Denise and A.J. Watkins and girls were to Harlem for the Harlem vs. Rocky Boy Volleyball game. They enjoyed seeing the girls play and the Wildcats were victorious.

Diane and Jim Jenks of Lakeside visited Sonny and Nellie Obrecht this weekend. They came especially to attend the funeral services for Dennis McGuire.

Virginia McCracken attended the funeral services for Dennis McGuire on Friday.

Evan Hauge of Havre was out for the weekend to help his parents with harvest.

Anita Reed and kids were to Billings for Brooke’s Diabetes appointment. While there, they enjoyed lunch with Cindy Reed on Friday.

Kent and Rachael Heilig and family were to Fairmont Wednesday and Thursday to attend the wedding of their niece Jasmine Heilig’s wedding to Haden Johnson. While there with other family, they helped celebrate Jasmine and Haden’s son, Cooper’s, first birthday.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Dennis McGuire. Dennis was laid to rest this past Friday at the SilverBow Cemetery. Dennis will certainly be missed by all his Big Flat friends and neighbors. His friendship will forever be in our hearts.
