We've Got The County Covered
The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting today at 11:00 a.m. in the library meeting room.
Kelsey has put together a display of books for October. “Books That Go Bump in the Night” will give you plenty of thrills and chills to choose from.
The movie today will be “The Journey Home”, which runs for 98 minutes and is rated PG. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. “50 to 1” will be the movie next Wednesday. If anyone has a request for a movie to be shown, please let us know or tell Kristy at the Senior Center. We are now taking requests for movies in December.
We have two non-fiction books available this week. “Good Housekeeping Simple Household Wisdom” has over 400 easy ways to clean & organize your home. “Beyond Schoolmarms and Madams” edited by Martha Kohl is a book of Montana women’s stories. In “The Boy is Back” by Meg Cabot, a scandal brings a young man back home to the small town, crazy family, and first love he left behind. “Night Watch” by Iris Johansen is a high-stakes, high-powered thriller. “The Girl from Venice” by Martin Cruz Smith is a magnificent love story for the ages, set against the beauty, mystery, and danger of wartime Italy.
We have two movies ready for checkout this week: Independence Day: Resurgence and X-Men Apocalypse.
Story Time is Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. LEGO Club is Thursday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and is open to kids in grades K-6.
Mark your calendars for Thursday December 1st. That is the date for the 25th Annual Hassle Free Christmas Program and as always we will have presentations and wonderful food.
There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what’s going on!
