We've Got The County Covered

Blaine County Library

The movie today will be “Amelia”, which runs for an hour and 51 minutes and is rated PG. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. “Flicka” will be the movie next Wednesday. If anyone has a request for a movie to be shown, please let us know or tell Kristy at the Senior Center. We are now taking requests for movies in December.

The Library will be closed Friday November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.

We have two new non-fiction books ready to go this week. “Forty Autumns: A Family’s Story of Courage and Survival on Both Sides of the Berlin Wall” by Nina Willner is an illuminating and deeply moving memoir. “Angels on Earth: Inspiring Stories of Fate, Friendship, and the Power of Connections” by Laura Schroff is filled with narratives about people whose lives have been changed forever by simple acts of kindness. We have three movies available this week: Legend of Tarzan, Gods of Egypt and The Shallows.

Story Time is Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. LEGO Club is Thursday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and is open to kids in grades K-6.

Mark your calendars for Thursday December 1st. That is the date for the 25th Annual Hassle Free Christmas Program and as always we will have presentations and wonderful food.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what’s going on!
