BEAR PAW MEANDERINGS

One summer I ended up with Ace Powell’s Franklin stove and some lucky cabin owner in the Bear Paws still has it in his or her cabin.

Ace Powell had been commissioned by the Havre Federal Savings and Loan to paint some pictures with scenery of the Bear Paws and the Missouri Breaks. Uncle Al Lucke was to take Ace around so he could get some good ideas for paintings.
