We've Got The County Covered
The number of donors presenting and the number of deferrals are presently unknown. However, it is known that a total of 47 units were collected on a goal of 50.
There were no first time donors this time around. Ray Reid reached 15 gallons with this last donation and we applaud his dedication to giving blood through the years. Jacob Waldner has donated 12 gallons and Jake Kleinsasser 10 gallons.
The canteen was hosted by the National Honor Society and the Business Professionals of America at Chinook High School. Those helping out were Gretchan Greytak, Karla Neibauer, Tammy Edwards, Wade Schneider, Brooke Elliot, Erin Pula, Tracy McCracken, Taylor Neibauer, Meghan Pruttis, Chelsea Fox, Sonia Swank, Jamie Roth, JT Hauer, Charley Anderson and Kyler Johnson. The time and effort by all involved certainly did not go unnoticed.
Pastor Jack Mattingly and the United Methodist Church provided the site for the drive at Wallner Hall. Volunteers enjoying their time at the registration table were Donna Murdy, Patty Treftz and Judy Johnson with a little help from Carla Jenewein. Those assisting with clean up after the drive were Colleen and Steven Mulonet, Jamie and Karla Neibauer, Sonia Swank and Kyler Johnson. Finley's Food Farm donated the drinks and paper products for the drive.
Everyone's willingness and dedication to the Red Cross Blood Drive is very much appreciated. None of this could be done without you.
Door prizes were provided by the North Central Montana Cattlewomen, the National Honor Society and the Business Professionals of America. Prizes were awarded to Crystal Huckabee, Jim Inman, Richard Cronk, Duane Skoyen, Melanie Qualls, Alana Gunderson, Leta Gould, John Schneider, Roger Fischer, Karen, Trevor Reid, Brandon Murnion, Lita Buck, and Linda Thompson.
The next blood drive will be Tuesday March 7th. Hope to see you all there.
Great Job Chinook!!
