The January meeting of the Paradise Pals 4-H club was called to order by Vice President Victoria Kirby. Clayton Sirucek led the American pledge and Kara Graff led the 4-H pledge. Roll call was name a bad habit I should break. Minutes from last meeting were read and approved. Treasurer Kara Graff gave her report.
Under reports we discussed Cookie Making/Quilt Decorating, Livestock Quality Assurance, Horse Helmet Safety, Shooting Sports, and 4-H Council Meeting. Under old business we discussed a possible guest speaker, Extension agent as a guest at our meeting, and club picture to the extension office. Under new business we discussed possible fundraisers.
Under announcements we discussed 1/22 Officer Training, New Family Orientation, and Cloverbud Camp, Winter Teen Camp, 4-H Rec Lab, and Valentine Dinner.
Talks were given by Michael Warburton on Leaders: Love or Fear, Anna Getten on Trimming Horses feet, Larissa Getten on Reading Animals, Kristen Graff on Copper in your Cow, Jared Graff on Saler Cattle, Cooper Mauldin on Graphic Design, and Mercedes Ritterbach on Making Wool into Yarn.
Next meeting is February 19th.
