Ft. Belknap Community Economic Development Corp. receives $35,000 Grant for Red Paint Kitchen project

The Fort Belknap Community Economic Development (FBCEDC) recently received a $35,000 Native Agriculture and Food Systems Initiative (NAFSI) grant from the First Nations Development Institute of Longmont, Colorado. This award will support the Red Paint Creek Kitchen Project.

The grant purpose is to create a commercial kitchen equipped with NSF certified equipment, to increase the food capacity for the Red Paint Creek Trading Post and satisfy the healthy food needs of the Lodge Pole, Hays, and Fort Belknap communities. The...
