Glen G. Olson 83, passed away May 5, 2017 at a Nursing Home in Naples, FL. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and burial with Military honors will take place June 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Turner Lutheran Church. A luncheon will follow at the VFW Hall.

Glen was one of five boys born to Maurice and Fanny (Post) Olson. He was born in Turner on July 11, 1933. He attended schools in Turner until 1952 when he joined the Air Force. After his discharge in 1972 he returned to work in Turner for a brief time. He then went to work for Forrest Klies building log cabins in Basin, MT. Glen and Forrest worked hard during the warm weather and then headed South for the winter months. This afforded Glen the opportunity to visit such places as Belize, Mexico, South America, and Florida. In 2009 Glen returned to Florida where he spent his retirement years. Glen spent many hours reading. He was a man of few words but had a big heart.

Glen is survived by his brother Harold (Betty) Olson of Conrad, several nieces and nephews, many friends including Forrest Klies.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Fanny, brothers Jerry, Clarence, and Carl.

Memorials maybe made to the Turner Lutheran Church.
