This past Saturday Turner, Montana was the place to be if you were a car enthusiast as the 241 Grill and Tavern hosted their Second Annual Car and Tractor Show and Fly In.
Visitors came from all over north central Montana and Canada to join in the fun.
More than forty cars plus several bikes and tractors lined main street during the show. The town of Turner swelled as several hundred people descended on the community to take part in the fun.
The 241 Grill and Tavern served a Barbecue dinner throughout the day and the Stonebroke String band was on hand to provide the entertainment.
In addition the Big Flat Grocery store added to the celebration providing tasty treats throughout the day including Root Beer Floats and Banana Splits.
The wind didn't detract visitors from enjoying the show and having a good time. Several awards were handed out to those who entered the show.

The Best Pickup Award went to Bobby Sheppard of Havre. His 1976 F600 pickup is a "step above the rest" as you walk past it and see how lifted it is. It's a real winner in it's own class. He did all the mechanical work himself in the restoration process.
