Chinook Senior Center

We had such an enjoyable visit to the North Harlem Colony last Thursday. 18 of us went on the tour and I wanted to thank Pastor Eli for having us out. Everyone loved it!

Now I will get on to this week's schedule... Whist will be played Wednesday, August 23 at 1 p.m.

Bingo will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Virginia Olson won last week's Blackout prize. Thanks to Ray Reid for calling. It is nice to have him back!

The Birthday Party 50/50 Raffle will be this Friday. The Kitchen Band will play and we will have pinochle. Last week's pinochle winner was Don Durocher. Pool & Cribbage will be played on Monday, August 28. Shanghai Rummy is played every Tuesday afternoon.

Congratulations to Myrla McCoy for her Yard of the Week! She really does have beautiful flowers in her yard and sometimes she brings them into the center for all to enjoy. She said it is time for Marathon Pinochle to start. If you are interested, come see Myrla. There is always room for more teams!

Don't forget the Foot Clinic is scheduled for Thursday, August 31 due to a Labor Day conflict. Call me if you need an appointment.
