It’s hard to believe we are already into the middle of September and Fall is in the air!

Don’t forget we will be playing Whist on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. here at the center.

The movie “A Dog’s Purpose” will also be shown in the Library Meeting Room on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Drinks and popcorn will be provided. Next week’s movie is “The Choice.”

Bingo will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday with Ray Reid calling. Irene Gauthier was last week’s winner.

The Kitchen Band will entertain us before lunch this Friday and Pinochle will be played in the afternoon. Last week’s winners were Rochelle Wohlschlager and Don Durocher.

Pool and cribbage will be played on Monday, Sept. 18.

Mary Pyette has signed up a very special Cancer Support Group speaker this week. Please join us in welcoming Shaun Guffin to the center on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 11:30 a.m. We are expecting a full house for this, so please RSVP early.

Shanghai Rummy is played Tuesday at 1 p.m. Mike Randall was last week’s winner.

Thanks to Max Maddox for all the lovely melons and tomatoes for the center. The cook loves them. We also would like to thank Ginger Hanson and the Chinook Golf Club for thinking of us with all their donations of food. Our seniors appreciate it!
