Each one of the businesses will be offering a gift basket to patrons that can be won at the end of the day, with one condition. Punch cards will be available at all six locations and must be filled before it can be entered into the drawing for any of the gift baskets.
"There were so many new businesses relocating or going through change of ownership within one square block of Chinook that we all just got together and decided to have our open houses at once," said Keith Hanson of the Blaine County Journal.
"We hope to make the community better aware of the services provided by these locally owned businesses. With hopes that it will encourage customers to stop by the other businesses in town as well as a means of supporting the local economy," added Hanson.
Some of the businesses have been operating for some time but never conducted a Open House and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. "We just want people to come see what we have to offer and what we can do for them," said Chris Carpenter of Chinook Tire & Lube.
Finley's will be starting several new food programs and looks forward to sharing them with their customers. Crystal Stepper is the new owner of the local State Farm location and has brought on two employees to help her business best serve the community and continue providing the excellent service they have in the past.
