We've Got The County Covered
Sharon Marie Lux, age 79, of Billings, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017. She was born to the late Rudy and Gladys Hebbelman on May 18, 1938. Sharon attended North Fork Elementary School and Chinook High School. On August 31, 1958, she married her husband of 42 years, the late Ronald Lux.
Family and friends were Sharon's light and joy. She was a hostess at heart and often organized gatherings at her home for family and friends, including her famous, or perhaps infamous, fondue parties.
Sharon was an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Billings and a loyal servant of the Lord. She was full of life and loved being outdoors, whether it was camping, or "digging in the dirt," in her meticulously beautiful yard.
Sharon is survived by her sons, George (and Marina) Lux of Houston, TX and Doug Lux of Billings, as well as her grandchildren, Jessica (and Zach) Zagata of Great Falls, Kieran Lux of Laramie, WY, Siobhan (and Henry) Lau of Rock Springs, WY, Cody (and Kristie) Lux of Belgrade, and Kayla Lux of Billings. She leaves behind great grandchildren Jaxon and Aubree Zagata and her beloved sister, Dorothy Veseth. She also has countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other caring relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank all of those who helped care for our "Bum" over the last several months. Your calls, cards, and prayers made her feel loved and gave her strength.
A Memorial Mass was held at 11:00 am Friday October 13 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Billings.
