Once again this community amazes me! What a wonderful turnout we had for the Pie Social. Over 60 people came to visit and enjoy a slice of pie with our Board of Directors, including Tom Tilleman, Roger Fischer, Rochelle Wohlschlager and Kathy O'Brien. Thank you to Ardys Conrad, Vernelia Tilleman, and Marilyn Berger for donating pies.

Now on to this week's news...

On Wednesday, the movie, "The Zookeeper's Wife" will be shown in the library meeting room at 1 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Whist will also be played Wednesday afternoon.

Jackpot Bingo is Thursday at 1 p.m. with a $10 prize. Last week, Virginia Olson was the blackout winner.

Friday is the October Birthday 50/50 Raffle. The Kitchen Band will play and there will be Pinochle after lunch. Last week's winners were Amy Belle Smith and Virginia Olson. Having Double Pinochles were Mike Randall, Virginia Olson, Frances Ewing and Amy Belle Smith.

Monday, October 31 is our spooky Halloween lunch. Come celebrate and dress up in costume!

Shanghai Rummy is played every Tuesday afternoon. Myrla McCoy was the big winner last week.
