We've Got The County Covered
Warren Fontaine Barger passed away on October 14, 2017. Warren was born in 1939 to William and Florence (Campbell) Barger in Big Piney, Wyoming. Warren attended school in Chinook, Montana. He married Joyce Krejci and they recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. They spent their lives farming and ranching together South of Lohman before retiring in Havre.
Warren loved Jesus, his family, and animals of any kind. He drew faith from the fellowship of his church and took great pleasure in greeting all who entered on Sunday mornings with affection, good humor and teasing. Warren was a cowboy artist who walked through life in a pair of cowboy boots with a western hat perched on his head. Warren enjoyed picking tunes on the guitar, drawing, shooting guns, carving wood, and creating finely crafted knives. Taking a drive, spending an afternoon fishing, shopping on e-bay, and smoking or grilling meat were favored past times.
Warren is survived by his wife Joyce of Havre; son Marty (Audrey) Barger of Havre; grandsons Spencer (Brandy) Barger of Montrose, Colorado and Madison Barger of Lakewood, Washington; sister Sandra (Frank) Long of Woodburn, Oregon; and six nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence Barger, and his brother William Barger.
Services were held at the Havre Assembly of God Church on Friday October 20th, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing 1 hour prior and burial to follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorials in Warren's name may be made to the Havre Assembly of God Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
