We've Got The County Covered
Helena, Mont., October 31, 2017 – The Montana Community Foundation (MCF) announces grant awards to benefit communities and residents of Blaine County. Grants were made from the Blaine County Community Foundation Fund, established at MCF by Warren Ross in 1997. Financial support for this grant program also comes from the Ross 87 Ranch Endowment Fund, established by Warren Ross as well.
Grant requests were reviewed by a committee of Blaine County residents and MCF staff. Awardees include:
• Blaine County Ambulance 2 – Big Flat (Turner) $2,000
• Harlem Volunteer Fire Department (Harlem) $1,250
• The Harlem Food Bank (Harlem) $750
• Kid’s Corner (Chinook) $500
“It was such a pleasure to work with local residents in this competitive grant process,” said Jessica Stewart-Kuntz, MCF Director of Operations & Grants. “We believe local communities are the best suited not only to identify, but also to tackle local challenges. It was wonderful to see Blaine County put this into practice and award dollars where they will make a positive impact on their communities.”
