Elissa and Jordan Zellmer and family took in the Jr. Hi basketball games this weekend. On Friday it was at Hays and on Saturday at St.Judes for the Jamboree.

Sandy Beck was to Chinook on Wednesday to play pinochle with her card group at Rita Surbers.

Loretta and Wally Beck attended the American Legion Veterans dinner in Turner on Sunday.

If you have 5x7 photos of family that are Veterans, you should get them to Kirsti Cederberg by Dec. 3 so that they are included on the wall of Veterans.

Susan and Gene Billmayer attended the Joint Parish Council in Harlem on Sunday afternoon.

There will be Jr.Hi. Basketball games at Big Sandy on Friday at 4 and 5:15. On Saturday, a Jamboree will be held in Turner, with Turner playing at 9 and 10:15, and at 2 and 3:15. The kids only have one more game after this weekend before tournament. It is with Box Elder on Tuesday at 4 and 5:15. Come out and watch the kids play.

Loretta and Wally Beck attended the Basketball games this weekend at Hays and at St. Judes and watched the kids play.

There will be a Craft Show on Saturday Nov. 18 at the Old Gym. There will be lots of exhibitors and things to see and purchase.

Sandy Beck visited Susan Billmayer on Saturday morning and they had coffee together.

On Thursday, there will be a “Thanks for the Harvest” celebration in Hogeland at the Lutheran Church with a soup supper at 6 and service at 7. Everyone welcome.

On Sunday November 19, there will be a Turkey Bingo in the Old Gym at 2 pm. It is sponsored by the Turner Pep Club.

Don’t forget there is school this Friday the 17th, to make up the no power day during the last snow storm.

The Krass girls were over to help Mom and Dad throughout the week.

On Friday Nov. 24 after Thanksgiving, there will be a Poker Bingo in Turner sponsored by the Turner Businesses. All proceeds will be donated to the Big Flat American Legion Post 109. The 1st card can be purchased at the Legion Hall and you can pick up more at the businesses.

The Annual Christmas Tea date has been set. It will be December 3 at 2 p.m. at the Turner Lutheran Church. Everyone welcome.

Stomach flu has hit a lot of people on the Big Flat this past week. Let’s hope it has run its course.
