White Pine 4-H Club Minutes

December 21st, 2017

President Rebecca Stroh called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st, 2017 at the Blaine County Library meeting room with 26 members, 5 leaders, and 7 guests present.

Jenna Liddle led the American pledge and the 4-H pledge was led by Colton Liddle.

Roll call was taken and the treasurers report were presented.

Bills for Achievement night door prize, leaders dues, and project books.

Gus B. gave a report on shooting sports. Grace B. gave a report on the cookie and craft party put on by the Extension Office.

Under unfinished business, members with market steers were reminded to send in their information with a picture to the Extension office by December 22nd. Also, the Blaine County Fair dates for 2018 will be July 4th through the 8th.

Under new business, project books were handed out. Bobbi will have record book forms at the next meeting. The last day to turn in corrected, completed record books to remain in good standing is December 29th. Members were asked to start thinking of a community service the club could complete and be ready to discuss it at the January meeting.

Other announcements included the 4-H Council meeting to be held January 8th 7 p.m. and the Livestock committee meeting to be December 28th at 7 p.m., both at the Triple E Room.

We held our gift exchange and pot luck. Thank you to Ashley Liddle family for hosting. B. J. O’Doherty attended our meeting and addressed the club as a new Extension Agent.

Our next meeting will be January 18th at 5:30 p.m. at the Meadowlark Cafeteria. Hosts will be the Berreth family.

White Pine 4-H Club Minutes

November 12th, 2017

President Colton Liddle called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. on November 12th,

2017 at the Blaine County Fairgrounds Commercial Building. There were 19 members, 3 leaders, and 2 guests present.

Stacie Liddle led the American pledge and the 4-H pledge was led by Micah Conner/ Gerky.

The treasurer report was given, and minutes from last meeting were approved.

The committee led by Jamie Berreth brought two movie package door prizes for Achievement Night. All families brought table decorations incorporating the 4-H Clovers.

Members and leaders were reminded to get re-enrollments forms into the office as soon as possible.

New business included election of officers. Our officers for the 2017-2018 4-H year include the following: President is Rebecca Stroh, Vice President is Drake Berreth,

Secretary/Reporter is Lincy Johnson, and Treasurer is Britton Elliot.

We drew for secret Santa presents for the Christmas party meeting which will be December 21st.

Our club was informed that the fair this year will be over 4th of July and that animal ownership deadlines will be changed.

Lincy motioned to adjourn the meeting and Jacob seconded it.

Following the meeting the club set up for and attended Achievement Night.

The next meeting will be our Christmas party and will be held December 21st at

4:00pm at the Blaine County Library meeting room hosted by Ashley Liddle Family.
