Lady Cats are 6-0 against District 2B
The Harlem Lady Cats will look to extend their basketball season this week at the Northern B Girls Divisional Basketball Tournament being held at the Cut Bank High School Gymnasium this Thursday through Saturday.
Harlem has had plenty of success this season against Northern B opponents and will take a 16-4 record and the District 2B No. 3 seed into the tournament.
The Lady Cats won their first 13 games against Class B foes before falling in three of their previous four contests.
Harlem will begin play Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. when they will face the Fairfield Eagles in the second game of the day.
During the regular season the Lady Cats were 6-0 against the District 1B, including a pair of wins over top seeded Rocky Boy.
Fairfield fell to the Morning Stars in the District 1B Championship while the Lady Cats blasted Malta in the District 2B Consolation final to set up the opening round contest.
The top two teams from the Northern B Divisional will advance to the state tournament in Missoula on the campus of the University of Montana, March 8-10.
