We've Got The County Covered
We are hoping for warmer weather this week, so you can finally take a walk and come see us. We have a lot of activities planned for you that you won't want to miss.
The movie, "The Quiet Man" starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara will be playing at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 in the library meeting room. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Whist is on the docket for Wednesday at 1 p.m.
Bingo will be played at 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Virginia Olson was the winner last week.
We are very excited to have the Poets & Pickers join "The Kitchen Band" this Friday at the center. You must call ahead if you want to reserve a meal for this one! Or just stop by and hear them play. They should be here all afternoon. There will be no pinochle this week.
On Monday, April 16, the center will be closed for the potluck. There will be no deliveries that day.
Cancer Support Group will be Tuesday, April 17 with guest Lindsay Rucinsky from Sweet Medical Center speaking on the topic of "Challenging Diabetes." Please call ahead for a reservation or just come to listen. This starts at 11:30 a.m.
The Milk River Genealogy Society meets at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 with Vernelia Tilleman hosting.
Shanghai Rummy is played every Tuesday and last week's winner was a tie between Don Durocher and Mike Randall, so they both won the cinnamon roll.
Last week, Virginia Olson and Marilyn Williamson were the "champs" at pinochle, even though Don Durocher and Mike Randall had 2 pinochles.
Special thanks to Frank Billmayer for coming in and presenting the program "Senior Scams" to us last Friday. It was very informative and everyone seemed to really enjoy it!
