White Pine 4H April Meeting report

Acting President Micah called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. on April 19th, 2018 at the EEE Room with 13 members, 1 leaders, and 4 guests present.

Daniel led the American pledge and the 4-H pledge was led by Emma. Roll call was to name your favorite color.

Acting Secretary Katie Tilleman read the minutes from the March meeting.

Acting Treasurers Gus Buck and Ethan Klingaman gave the treasurer’s report.

We received a correspondence from Shirley Brockie of the Montana Seed Show thanking us for our display entry.

Under unfinished business, there was a reminder that all members need to complete a demonstration or talk before the end of the year. Additionally, we were not able to clean the baseball field on March 25th as it was under snow still. Jacob and Jason, per phone, will find out a new date for clean up and email the club.

Under new business, drop/add deadline is May 1st. Bobbi requested anyone who needed books or who dropped or added projects please email her so she can make a final book order.

We reviewed the latest Tuesday Tidbits sent out by the Extension office which included a variety of workshop and meeting dates coming up in late April and early May.

The meeting was adjourned.

The club reviewed how to do a demonstration from coming up with an idea to the presentation. As a part of the activity, Amina was able to complete a demonstration entitled “How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhich.”

Thank you to the Colton and Stacie Liddle family for hosting this meeting.

Our next meeting will be May 17th at 5:30 at the Meadowlark Cafeteria. Hosts will be the Metcalf and Tilleman families.
