Rhoda F. Bosch, 79, passed away from natural causes on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Sweet Home in Chinook. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 7th at 2pm in the Zion Lutheran Church in Chinook. Burial followed in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery.
Rhoda was born on November 28, 1938 to Bertha (Kinzel) and Reuben Donis in Havre. Rhoda was raised on the family farm and was educated in both country and Chinook schools. She started her career working at the Chinook Refinery.
On August 27, 1960, Rhoda married Wayne Bosch. After a few years, Rhoda and Wayne moved to a ranch south of Chinook to work for Larry and Vicki Schultz. Then they went to work for Nick and Pat Faber. During her years south of Chinook, Rhoda spent her time raising her sons and working as a ranch wife and cook. She also worked as a Clerk for the Lloyd and Cleveland rural school districts and served on the Chinook School Board. After Wayne's passing in 2005, she moved back to Chinook where she worked for her nephew at Dan's Auto Parts. Due to health issues, she moved to the Sweet Home in Chinook in November 2012.
Rhoda and Wayne had three sons, Wayne Allan, Howard and Jeffrey. She was proud of her sons and husband and enjoyed spending time with them in all activities. Rhoda enjoyed NASCAR races, trips to Michigan to visit Howard, and going for drives or spending time in the Bears Paw Mountains.
Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, and her son Wayne Allan. Survivors include her sons Howard and Jeffrey, her brother Roger Donis, her sister Mary (Donis) Friede, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Zion Lutheran Church building fund or the Blaine County Ambulance.
