We've Got The County Covered
Tuesday July 10, 2018 was the Red Cross Blood Drive in memory of Amanda Oehmcke. The drive was held at Wallner Hall. There were 38 donors presenting with 30 viable units collected.
The family of Amanda would like to thank all of those who came by to donate in Amanda's memory and they appreciate all of your kind words.
There were 3 first time donors: Amanda Stroebe, Cindy Haney and Shellie McMaster. Other donors receiving pins were Don Ranstrom-15 gallons, Nicole McCracken-2 gallons, Jack Davies-8 gallons, Lindy Brekke-2 gallons.
The canteen was hosted by the LDS ladies and those spending time at the canteen throughout the day were Betty Tilleman, Sandra Sperry, Heather Brown, LeAnne Johnson and Lincy Johnson.
Pastor Jack Mattingly and the United Methodist Church once again provided the site for the drive at Wallner Hall. Donna Murdy, Patty Trefts and Judy Johnson attended to the check in and welcome table and Finley's Food Store provided the paper goods, coffee and juice for the drive.
Door prizes were provided by the North Central Montana Cattlewomen and the LDS Church. Prizes were awarded to Daniel Pratt, Don Ranstrom, Nicole McCracken, Dwayne Skoyen, Angie Hebbleman, Cindy Haney, Roger Fischer, Jack Davies, Josh Nordboe, Shelli McMaster, Crystal Huckabee, and Ken Maly.
Everyone's willingness and dedication to the Red Cross Blood Drive is very much appreciated. None of this could be done without you. With that being said, there are many opportunities for volunteering with the Red Cross Blood Drive. If you are not able to donate blood but would like to be involved in a life saving volunteer opportunity, we would love to hear from you. High School students, your volunteer hours also count towards a Red Cord at your high school graduation, even if you are not eligible to donate. If you are interested, please give Carla Jenewein a call and leave a message at 357-2491.
The next blood drive will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Wallner Hall. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.
