We've Got The County Covered
On Saturday, January 26 from 5:00 p.m.—9:00 p.m., the Blaine County Fair Foundation will play host to a Blaine County Brewfest, which will be held in the Commercial Building at the fairgrounds located at 300 Cleveland Road West in Chinook.
Proceeds from the Brewfest will provide money for the day-to-day operation of the fair. The Brew Fest fee of $15 per person comes with a commemorative glass and two drink tokens. Each commemorative glass will be etched with 2019 Blaine County Brewfest. If the event sells tickets to more than 400 participants, plastic cups will replace the glass.
Although as of press time, the Fair Board didn’t have available a complete list of breweries, wineries, and distilleries who will offer drink samples, the Yellowstone Cellars and Winery will be one featured vendor.
Fair Board member Loren Skoyen also reported, “There will be tacos and nachos for eight bucks and Chris Preputin will serve as our DJ, providing background music. All money raised will go towards running the fair in July.”
Sponsors for the event include Triple T Sales, Custom Collision Repair (CCR), Skoyen Ranch, Red Rock Power, Warren and Nancy Lybeck, Bears Paw Apiaries, Skoyen Amsoil Sale, Premier Angus, and Chinook Pharmacy.
If the Brewfest is a hit, the Fair Board plans to make the event an annual affair.
