We've Got The County Covered
Hey Chinook, we did it again. Each donation can save up to 3 lives. Because of your generosity, 114 lives will be saved. There were 40 individuals that showed up to donate on Tuesday, March 5th. There were two deferrals making our total number of pints donated 38, exceeding our goal of 35 by 3. These numbers are really something to celebrate and we are grateful for each and every one of you who made our success possible.
Ann Davies reached 13 gallons at this drive, Kayla Hudon and Josh Nordboe reached 2 gallons. Not pictured is our first time donor Delmer Henry.
The canteen was hosted by the American Lutheran Church and those tending to the goodies throughout the afternoon were Mildred Dawson, Millie Smith, Terry Grabofsky, Sharon LaPlant and Tammy Williams. The goodies were, as always enjoyed by all of our donors, volunteers and guests. We are all so happy to have had you participate in this important aspect of the blood drive.
Pastor Jack Mattingly and the United Methodist Church once again so graciously provided the site for the drive at Wallner Hall. Set up for the drive was accomplished by Pastor Jack, Carla Jenewein and Judy Johnson. Clean up for this drive again, was made possible by Chrissy Downs and the Jump Youth Group. There are a lot of tables and chairs to move around and their willingness to assist is appreciated more than you know.
Door Prizes were donated by the American Lutheran Church and North Central Montana Cattle Women. Taking home door prices were Cindy Haney, Amber Huestis, Makhayla Farmer, Paxtin McCann, Tuzz Langford, Elaine Hamilton, Jackie Gunderson, Karen Pike, Shellie McMaster, and Linda Thompson.
Others who most certainly need to be recognized for their willingness to contribute to the smooth running of the drive each time are the ladies at the welcome table: Donna Murdy, Judy Johnson, Patti Treftz and Linda Thompson. Paulette Keller again came through and delivered the beef certificates to me promptly before the drive.
To each and every one of you, my gratitude for your willingness to donate and to participate in one way or another is greatly appreciated. I apologize in advance if I have forgotten anybody.
Sincerely Carla Jenewein, Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator for Chinook.
