Leonard Edwin Doney

Leonard was born on March 6, 1941 at Zortman, MT. He was the youngest son of Lydia (Lavenger) Doney and Pete Doney. He was married to Marla Kinsley and later divorced. He retired from the BNSF and made his home in Havre, MT.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, son Terry Doney, brothers Charles Laverdure, Elmer Doney, Alex (Jiggs) Doney, Donald (Andy) Doney, Gene Doney and sister Grace Campbell, Alice Pewonka, Ruby LaTray and Maxine LaTray.

He is survived by sons Chance Williams, Gordon Ironman and daughter Ranae Torres, sister Edna (Gordon) Teske, grandson Wayne Durbin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leonard had many hobbies. He will be remembered for his guitar playing, his great love of the outdoors, expecially for his dogs, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and boxing.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at St. Judes Catholic Church. It will be followed by internment in Highland cemetery. There will be a luncheon following at the church.
