Loretta Beck was to GreatFalls on Thursday for a medical appt. Afterwards she enjoyed lunch with her sister, Laura Sherwood.

Susan Billmayer spent the week in Great Falls with Emily attending the Special Olympics.

Graduation was held on Saturday for the Senior Class and for the Eighth grade graduates. Brenda Mohar was the featured speaker for the ceremony. Graduates are Kurt Calvert, Raegan Conlan, Rylee Conlan, Tracer Heilig, Clayton Krass, and Cody Welsh. Eighth grade grads were Charlie Calvert, Colton Honey, Dakota Krass and Chantry Jorgenson. Afterwards there was a graduation party at the Old Gym for the graduates and all those attending the event. Congratulations Graduates.

The Divisional Track meet was held in Great Falls on May 16, The athletes did well considering the weather. Those that qualified will go to State Track Meet in Laurel on the 24th.

Last Monday the Awards program was held at the school gym for grades 7-12. Congratulations to all the kids. They did a great job.

Loretta and Wally Beck attended Cord Schneider’s Graduation party on Friday evening at the Schneider home. Congratulations Cord on your graduation from Chinook.

Kindergarten graduation will be held on Monday May 20 at 3 p.m. at the school. Graduating will be Rhett Ammen, Rooney Briere, Cooper Grabofsky, Auzdyn King, Issac Klindworth and Mary Simons. These youngsters will be entering 1st grade this fall.

On Saturday, Loretta Beck attended graduation for the Seniors and 8th graders, and the meal after.

Diana Maloey, Anita Reed, and Lucas, Hilary Richman and Natalie, and Linda Hauge visited Mom and Dad Krass before Graduation.

Susan,Gene and Emily Billmayer attended Graduation in Turner Saturday.

Chad and Chloe Beck visited Sandy beck on Sunday. Chad was going to seed but found it too wet.

The 6-8th grades of Turner are taking a field trip to points of interest in the State this week, returning Tuesday. What a fun trip and an informative one the kids will never forget.

The last day of school is May 21st after a full day of school that day. It won’t be long before summer is over and classes will resume the middle of August. Have a good summer!!

Memorial day services will be Monday May 27th on the Big Flat. Silverbow will be at 10 am, followed by Wing Cemetery and finally Turner Cemetery afterwards. Lunch will be served at the Old Gym at noon. Community members are asked to bring a dessert.

Helen and Jim Billmayer returned home from Arizona for the Summer. Family and friends welcome them home. Hope the weather warms up.
