Event Rescheduled: Words from a Nez Perce Elder

Due to a scheduling conflict the speaker event planned at the Blaine County Museum for the weekend of June 8 and 9 has been canceled and rescheduled for the weekend of June 22 and 23. Unfortunately this issue was not recognized until the day of the event. We apologize to all for the inconvenience.

Bear Paw Battlefield will host Silas Whitman, a Nez Perce elder, at Blaine County Museum the weekend of June 22 and 23. Silas has decades of traditional Nez Perce knowledge of medicines, foods, and everyday survival. With a lifetime of knowledge passed down through generations he comes to share with all who are interested.

If you would like to take advantage of this unique opportunity please join us in the Blaine County Museum at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 or Sunday, June 23 at 1 p.m. There is no cost to visit the museum or attend the event.
