Donna was born in Plentywood, MT on November 26, 1955. She was the youngest daughter of nine brothers and sisters. Donna graduated from Plentywood high school in 1974. Donna married August 28, 1975 and had 2 daughters born into this Union. Donna was beholden to Wolds. Tom & Nancy's... and Finley's Food Farm for letting her use their store as a meeting place with friends and was the center of her social life for 25 years.
She later moved to Minot, ND where she easily obtained friends while working for Trinity Hospital in the Mail Center, Corporate Finance Department.
Donna truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and making memories. She had a laugh that anyone who knew her would recognize without seeing her. Donna was passionate about her grandchildren, playing pinnacle, bingo, bowling and diet coke.
She fought bravely and gracefully but as her time started to grow short here on this Earth, she said "I have no bucket list, I already have all the best family and friends - my bucket is full." She will always be a loving Mother, a Sister, a Grandmother, and a Friend to many.
Donna is survived by two daughters; Misty (Steve) Sebert of Spokane Valley, WA and Katie (Charles) Unruh of Minot, ND and Donna's four Grandchildren Alexis, James, Kaidence & Chevy. Her five siblings and their family Gary, Arnold, Alice, Jean and Doris. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Harold Smith, step-father Norris Tronson, three sisters, Sharon, Shirley & Dorothy, her son Jason Smith, and her grand-daughter Jenna Unruh.
