Turner School announces American Legion Poppy and Essay Contest winners

Brenda Mohar, President of the Turner Legion Auxiliary Post 109, came to the Turner School this past week to award several youngsters for their hard work in the essay and poppy poster contest that was done last spring. They were awarded a certificate and gift certificate from the local chapter. Left: Winners are as follows: Brenda Mohar, President of the Auxiliary, Willie Krass, Holly Grabofsky, and Quin Billmayer. She was ill and absent from school the day the presentations were given.
