The Aliens of Lilliput were played by Izzy Van Voast, Lex Wolery, Savannah Heilig, Hannah Van Voast, Piper Fox, Hudson Simons, Kassidy Modic, and Hudson Honey.
The Yahoos were played by back row: Joe Trautmann, Preston Egbert, Brady Zelllmer, Ty Beck, Landon Honey, and Natalie Richman. Front Row: Ali Doyle, Quin Billmayer, Holly Grabofsky, and Willie Krass.
Shay Humphreys played the part of the Maniacal Scientist of Lapunta, Shane Kimmel played Gullliver #2, Ethan Heilig played the part of Gulliver #1, and Trever Kimmel played JCN (Jason). These boys did a fantastic job with their parts, really hamming it up and having fun with it. Also joining them in a lot of hard work were stage managers, Meridian King-Snider, and Cassidy Grabofsky. Thank you to Joe and Ariel, directors/actors that travel with Missoula Children's Theatre. They did a magnificent job casting parts and working with the children all week to make this production come together. Lastly, a huge thank you to Mrs. Heather Jorgenson for sharing her beautiful piano talents to be able to play for this musical. We all appreciate the time she put into preparing and also helping with the kiddos throughout the week.
The Missoula Children's Theater came to Turner this past week to provide acting experience to the students of Turner School, with the production, GULLIVER'S TRAVELS. With his ship wrecked and his trusty computer JCN on the fritz, brave explorer Gulliver finds himself lost in space with nothing but an invisible Force to guide him! While transporting from world to world, under the control of the Maniacal Scientist of Lapunta, Gulliver discovers fighting aliens, arrogant Horse Leaders of the foolish Yahoos, larger than life, royalty (inn more ways than one) and robots-all who need just as much help from Gulliver as Gulliver needs from them! It was a fun production, one if you missed, you missed a good one!
