Barbara J. Yeoman

Barbara J. Yeoman died on September 18, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by her loving family. There will be no services at this time, but a burial service will be held in Harlem at a later date.

Barbara was born January 6, 1940 in Chinook, Montana to Milo and Evelyn Anderson.

Her fondest childhood memories include farming with her dad, Milo (Pappy) Anderson, in Turner, Montana. On December 6, 1958 she married her love, Ken Yeoman. They had four children, and Barb could often be found cheering them on at every one of their sports events. That love of sports and being a great cheerleader carried on to her grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout her 79 years. She was also a housewife that enjoyed her gardening, canning, beautiful flowers, crocheting, dancing, and jigsaw puzzles.

Barb really excelled at being a mom and a grandma. She knew how to take care of kids with love, compassion, and a firm hand. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other kids she loved and cared for were the lucky beneficiaries of her child rearing expertise. Barb leaves a legacy of children that were fortunate to have her influence in their lives. Her spirit lives on in all of them.

Barbara J. Yeoman is survived by her loving husband, Ken, her four children: DaughterArlene and Paul Wells, Son-Kenny Yeoman, Son-Larry (Teresa) Yeoman, and DaughterChar (Ross) Magnuson, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Sisters: Kay (Charlie) Brekke, Marcia (Frank) Haake, and Karen Schneider, and many nieces and nephews. All of these people were loved, and their lives touched deeply, by her.
