The Book Challenge for October is to read a book with a spine of your favorite color! You may win a gift certificate from a local business.

The Friends of the Harlem Library annual membership meeting will be October 23, 6 P.M. in the library meeting room. The evening will begin with a free soup supper followed by the business meeting including election of officers. Annual dues of $10 may be paid at this meeting. All members and those interested in joining are encouraged to attend.

The library will be closed October 14 in observance of Columbus Day.
