We've Got The County Covered
The Friends of the Harlem Library held their annual Wine & Cheese Fundraiser last Wednesday with proceeds going to projects being conducted throughout the year at the Harlem Library. For years guests were treated to a variety of wines and cheeses to enjoy throughout the night but this years event added a number of micro brews for patrons to enjoy. The fundraiser featured a number of items that were included in either the live auction or the silent auction. Gift baskets of homemade breads, an assortment of pies, books and even a quilted table runner made by Louis Nissen were available to bid on. The Live Auction was conducted by Kevin Elias and as always, was well attended, providing a big boost in helping the library meet its needs heading into the new year.
