The “Circle of Security” parenting class series begins this week on Thursday, February 6, 6:00-7:30 P.M. This five part series will be instructed by Jake Strissel from the Havre Bullhook Community Health Center. There is no charge for the series and child care will be provided. Call the library at 353-2712 to register, or for more information.
The library will be closed Friday, February 7 so staff may attend training.
The Book Challenge for February is to read a book that reminds you of someone you love. Contact the library if you have completed the January Book Challenge so your name can be entered to win a gift certificate from a local business.
February is Love Your Library Month! Show your love by stopping by the library to take advantage of all the services we offer: children’s programs, book clubs, free Wi-Fi, patron computers, great new books, children’s playspace, magazines and newspapers, DVDS, coffee bar and more! This month’s passive program is “Color Like You Mean It.” Stop by to color a heart that we will make into a Love Your Library quilt.
Book Club members may pick up the new selection “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celest Ng this week. The first discussion will be Monday, February 10 at 4 P.M.

New books this week include “When Life Gives You Pears: The Healing Power of Family, Faith and Funny People” by Jeannie Gaffigan. The author, wife of comedian Jim Gaffigan, “writes with humor and heart about the pear-sized brain tumor she had removed, the toll it took on her enormous family, and the priceless lessons she learned along the way.”
