Bill and Mary Hake enjoyed basketball in Turner this past Friday.
Dan and Amy Huttton were to Long Beach where they visited with David Heilig. Then they continued on over to the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Gerald and Shirley Keller attended the Turner/Hays game on Friday and then the Blue Pony/Sidney game on Saturday. They enjoyed watching all the kids play.
Max Cederberg and Francis Van Voast were in Bozeman this weekend for a MSRA meeting.
Diana Maloney was to Havre on Friday. She visited Dan and Helen Maloney, Jim Reed, and Danny Kegel at Timbercreek.
Mary Simons participated in the Chinook Cheer camp on Saturday and performed during halftime of the Turner/Chinook girls basketball game.
Congratulations to Gracie Honey on finishing in the County Spelling Bee with third place. We congratulate her!!
Linda and Darel attended the Turner/Hogeland Lions breakfast on Sunday morning.
Senior Night will be this coming February 14th with the game vs. Big Sandy. The games are at 5:00 and 6:30. Jack Harmon and Sarah Billmayer will be honored.
The District 9C tournament will begin next week Feb. 19-22nd. Copies of the brackets are available at the school office and Big Flat Grocery. As soon as the school gets an official standing of each team and game times, they will let the public know. Tournament tickets are available now and can be purchased from Denita Humphreys at the school. The tickets are $32.00 and student general admission is $25.00.
Looking ahead to Tornado sports, Track will begin on March 9th.
Elementary basketball will begin on Monday, February 24th. The program will run from Feb. 24- April 4th. It’s always fun to see Tornadoes play basketball, both older and younger kids!!
