We've Got The County Covered
After putting together an outstanding senior season where JT Hauer lead the Sugarbeeters in tackles, and interceptions, and tied a school record with the most interceptions in a single game, he has seen his hard work pay off. Hauer was selected as 1st team All-Conference Middle Linebacker, and also earned selection to the Bob Cleverly 8-man All Star Game this summer. In addition, he was offered the chance to continue his education while following his dreams of playing college football by several schools.
Hauer ultimately chose to accept an offer from the University of Jamestown (UJ) in Jamestown, ND. This opportunity will have him a move from playing the middle or the inside linebacker position, to an outside linebacker this fall. The University of Jamestown plays in the GPAC conference of the NAIA, a conference which is also home to the 2-time defending national champions and often harbors other nationally ranked teams.
Hauer felt an instant connection with the university, the coaches, and the players during visits to the campus. He looks forward to being there this summer and putting in the work necessary to be able to compete for playing time in his first year, and is excited for what the future holds.
Hauer is the son of Jayson and Jana Hauer and Jami and Dale Britt of Chinook.
