The family of Tristan Billmayer is pleased to announce two winners of the 2020 Mental Health Field Scholarship in the amount of $500 each.
Kiera Miller, a 2016 graduate of North Star High School is the daughter of David and Julie Miller. Kiera is a Senior at Montana State University majoring in community health with a minor in psychology. Keira plans on pursuing a masters in counseling. She will graduate from MSU this fall and plans on applying to graduate programs.
Jevyn Schuhmacher, a 2020 graduate of Harlem High School is the son of Dusty and Jami Schuhmacher. Jevyn is pursuing a degree in social work with a minor in sociology and psychology at University of Montana. Jevyns goal is to become an activist for children's mental health and wellbeing in and out of the home.
The Tristan Billmayer Memorial Mental Health Field Scholarship in the amount of $500 is offered to any graduate from Blaine County and/or 9C School District who has plans to or is in the process of pursuing a degree in a field that pertains to mental health, such as counseling, psychology, social work, etc. For more information or to apply for the 2020 scholarship, please email Shawna Billmayer at slbillmayer74@gmail.com or contact your school counselor.
