BIG FLAT 4-H --- December Minutes

At our December 20th 4-H meeting Hannah Richman called the meeting to order. We had our meeting at Turner Christian Church. We had to cancel Christmas caroling because of bad weather. Avery Fox led the American pledge and Jessa Schroder led the 4-H pledge. Jessa read our November 4-H meetings minutes. For old business we talked about achievement night. Our new business was that the extension office is doing record book training every month. Club members that came to this meeting were Mary Simons, Hudson Simons , Avery Fox, Piper Fox, Hannah Richman , Natalie Richman, Isabella Van Voast, Hannah Van Voast, and Jessa Schroder. We brought Christmas cards to the meeting for people to sign and send to the nursing home. At the end of the meeting , we handed out our notebooks to write what we did at during this last month. At the end of the meeting, Jessa Schroder did her demonstration about different breeds of horses. The Schroder family also brought refreshments.

White Pine 4-H --- December Minutes

President, Katie Tilleman, called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm on December 17th, 2020 at Bear Paw Livestock. There were 24 members, 2 advisors and 10 guests present.

The American Pledge was led by Chyler Standiford and the 4-H Pledge was led by Gus Buck.

Roll call was, “What is your favorite Christmas song, poem or story.”

Grace Buck read the minuets from the November meeting. Evan Davies motioned to approve the minutes and Aislinn Handy seconded it.

No Treasurer’s report.

For the officer’s report Gus Buck discussed our float for the Parade of Lights. We had a flatbed trailer with haybales and the kids all rode the float with flashlights.

No Committee report.

Under unfinished business, everyone was reminded that they need to do a demonstration before the end of the year. There was also a reminder that if you need project books you need to get those ordered. Also, that our Christmas party was “Bring a gift to get a gift.”

No other reports to discuss.

Ethan Klingaman motioned to adjourn the meeting and Charlie Buck seconded it. Meeting adjourned.

Thank you to our whole club for bringing a dish for the pot luck and participating in the gift exchange! The next meeting will be January 21st, 2021.
