We've Got The County Covered
On April 19 at 12:00 p.m. EST, Close Up Radio will feature former Chinook resident Angela Lenhardt in an interview with Jim Masters. Anyone interested can listen to the show on BlogTalkRadio. The show's focus will be on "empowered women who want to make a difference in the world."
The radio show's producer, Barry Schwartz encourages anyone who has questions for their guest to call (347) 996-3389.
Lenhardt, who is the daughter of the late Kathleen Lenhardt and Daniel Lenhardt, graduated from Chinook High School in 1991. She currently works as an intuitive life coach, business consultant, and spiritual teacher out of the Denver area. When she learned of the invitation to appear on the radio show, Lenhardt responded: "There is no doubt in my mind that God means business. [He is] Law, Order and Grace all balled up into ONE. He directs, guides, heals and restores. . . . I'm forever grateful."
Lenhardt's life has been one of achievement. After high school, she attended the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. While at UNC, she competed on the cross country team and was a four time All-American, finishing in the top 25 in the nation all four years.
Somewhere along the way, Lenhardt became aware that she had been blessed with a special gift. "I knew that my mother had it. But, frankly, when I was younger, I didn't believe in that sort of thing. The more I struggled with this gift, trying to understand what was going on, the more frustrated I became. It wasn't until my mother passed away in November of 1998 that I finally gave in to these feelings. And, when I gave in to acceptance, I learned I could feel other people's energy. I began to foresee things and events before they happened."
Once Lenhardt found the courage to embrace her clairvoyant gift, she discovered her true voice. "From that moment forward, I began helping others to find their own path of understanding spirituality and the connection between the mind, body and spirit."
For sixteen years, Lenhardt has operated Angela Lenhardt LLC. "I am my business," she said. She not only offers individual life coaching sessions-inviting her clients to "Live Extraordinary"-but also intuitive business consulting.
"With great humility, I'm proud to say that I am an accomplished Spiritual Coach and Feng Shui consultant. At its most basic core, I specialize in helping my clients increase their flow of abundance, health, love, and harmony. I channel information, offer energy clearings and recommendations for change. I intuitively look at each client's unique situation to provide the best practical advice."
Lenhardt defines Feng Shui as an ancient Chinese art based on the idea that everything is energy. "By using Feng Shui principles to stimulate your home or office, you begin to harmonize the energy in your space, therefore, creating a channel for 'chi' to move freely so that you can live balanced. When the energy becomes unbalanced, the results influence every area of your life, including your livelihood!
"As you begin to open the space for sacred energy to freely move, you begin to attract opportunities for health and financial success."
Lenhardt has travelled through China and Thailand to study holistic techniques for healing. In addition to Feng Shui, these include yoga, nutrition, Qigong, Reiki, meditation, and Thai Massage. From this travel and training, she threads the knowledge of many masters to support her clients in what she calls "a positive, confidential transformation."
"Whether it's people seeking advice about relationships or careers or they just need a source of motivation to guide them through the grief process, I can help them find clarity," says Lenhardt.
She went on to describe personal background. "I've had a lot of 'success' in life, but I've also missed a few steps. I don't tend to use the word failure because I don't feel like failure is an option. Furthermore, success and failure are all about perception. Life is one lesson after another. You only make a mistake once, and after that, it's a choice. I've chosen to view my 'mishaps' as blessings because I realize those experiences have shaped me into the person I am today."
As a testimony to her talent, one of her clients shared this endorsement: "My sister has given me the gift of a reading with Angela for the past three years. Her wise counsel has impacted my life and the lives of my family members physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Her insight has helped us forge our future paths and helped us reconcile our pasts. Her gifts are numerous and her spirit is kind and generous. A reading with Angela is easily my favorite birthday gift."
Although Lenhardt doesn't have any "fancy initials after her last name," she holds herself accountable. "I'm not a traditional coach, as some might say. I embrace my intuitive gifts and use them when I'm asked. I've been this way since I was fourteen years old."
Attributing her success to the art of building honest relationships with people, Lenhardt claims that communication begins with standing strong in one's personal values. What has most surprised her about operating her own business is that "success is an inside job, and so are inner peace and happiness."
Lenhardt smiled after outlining her motivation for serving as a life coach. "I have the desire to help people by teaching practical wisdom based on my personal experiences. My mom always told me to 'get out there and help someone,' so I guess I'm still doing what I'm told."
While her greatest challenges have been understanding personal boundaries and learning how to say no, her greatest reward has come in "knowing how to stand on her own two feet and thrive." Also willing to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves, she is "not easily intimidated."
Lenhardt plans to take her business in the direction of more publishing. "I'm currently in the process of writing a series of children's books and then paying attention to where that path leads me," she said.
In offering advice to other entrepreneurs, Lenhardt suggests: "You are the captain of your own ship, and no one is more committed to your business than you. Live by example and never waver on integrity."
When she is not working, Lenhardt takes pleasure in horses, yoga, hiking, scuba diving, running, reading, and eating chocolate and other great food, as well as drinking fine wine!
With its pandemic repercussions, social unrest, and economic upheaval, this past year has tested all of us. No one could have predicted all of the changes that transpired, but Lenhardt believes that contentment is more "a process of allowing," an attitude which she claims provides a much more enjoyable life space. "We attract situations and people to our lives, and we can use those situations as valuable learning tools about ourselves.
"When the path appears grim and you feel overwhelmed with challenges, there is beauty in finding the strength to remain positive. Miracles happen before our very eyes if we remain focused and if we trust in the process. By allowing the universe to work through us, we discover that our purpose is to be of service-as well as to live a glorious life."
