Harlem Library

The library board meets today at 4:15 in the library meeting room. Summer Reading “Tails and Tales” registration kicks off with the Stuffed Animal Adoption Event June 1-4 for children of all ages at the library. Story Time in the Park meets every Tuesday beginning June 1 at 10 A.M. for younger children and their parents/caregivers. Bring a blanket to sit on. Elementary age students are invited to Steam on the Sidewalk outside the library every other Wednesday beginning June 2, 1 P.M. Teens and adults may participate by entering a drawing for a gift card for each book read. See the library column for more information.

Harlem Food Bank

The Harlem Food Bank has been open for some time now and we are looking for clients to come and be served. We have plenty of food and are ready to give it to those in need. Thank you. Jack L. Siemens, Manager.

Zurich All Class Reunion

The planning committee for a Zurich Elementary School All-Class Reunion is hoping for a celebration in 2022, and they need additional help! Anyone interested in lending a hand with mailings, organizing memorabilia, planning meals, coordinating games/activities for the younger crowd, assisting at registration, or simply helping out in another way should contract Betty Billmayer by calling at 357-4100.

Blaine County Library

Mobile Hotspots and iPads available for checkout. After School Hangout for grades 7 & 8 Mondays at 3:30, Story Time Tuesdays at 10:30, After School Hangout for grades 5 & 6 Tuesdays at 3:30 and LEGO Club for grades K and up Thursdays at 3:30.

Chinook Golf Course

Save the Date! Chinook Community Dinner/Auction, to support the Chinook Golf Course is Saturday, June 26, 2021. Plowed Under will be playing this year.

Main Street Planters

There is no group or organization to plant flowers in the barrels on Main Street this year. If you would like flowers, you will have to plant them yourselves. If some organization would like to take this project over they may. There are 23 flower barrels total covering Main Street as well as the Post Office, Senior Center and Ace Hardware.
