We've Got The County Covered
The faculty and staff at Harlem Elementary School has chosen the second trio of ROAR winners for the week ending September 10. Because first grader Brody Plumage, fourth grader Aizha TalksDifferent, and fifth grader Lucas Blackcrow have been following the ROAR Rules, they have been chosen as this week's ROARing Lil' Wildcats.
Each day during the morning announcements, School Counsellors, Melody Sand and Ruth Stephenson read aloud the components of the ROAR Rules and explain how they apply to different scenarios the students may encounter. These examples help the listeners realize that practicing citizenship, courtesy, and good manners associated with ROAR does not end at school but must also be practiced at home, in our communities, and anywhere else the students may go. ROAR students are Respectful, Organized, Always safe, and Responsible at all times and in all places, and these positives will help to foster and create habits for a life-time.
"Harlem Elementary is very delighted to acknowledge Brody, Aizha, and Lucas for displaying their ROARing Lil' Wildcat pride," Janice Gilham exclaimed.
