We've Got The County Covered
Our beloved Dusty Lee Manuel was born to Katherine Ann Doney and Thomas Lee Manuel on August 4, 1985. Dusty passed away on September 5, 2021 at his mothers home.
After family, a huge part of Dusty's life was horses. There wasn't a horse Dusty would not ride, or one he could not tame. Dusty liked to show off his prowess by crawling between a horses front and rear legs, and under the horse's belly. He knew he had the best of a horse when he could stand on their backs. Dusty trained many horses for many people. Dusty had a way with horses like no other. Dusty competed in local rodeos in Hays and Lodgepole. Dusty rode mostly saddle bronc, but he did ride a few bulls also. Dusty was winning many races in several states. Dusty rode for the Kirkaldie Relay team of Hays and the Plainfeather team of Lodgepole. He rode in the finals of the world championships in Sheridan, Wyoming, with the Plainfeather team.
