Halloween is just around the corner! The library is sponsoring “The Great Pumpkin Contest!” The challenge is to decorate a pumpkin as a favorite book character. You may use any type of craft materials including markers, paint, glitter, fabric, yarn, etc. or the pumpkin may be carved. The pumpkins must be submitted at the Harlem Library by Oct. 27, 6 P.M. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: ages 1-8, ages 9-14, and ages 15 and older. Pumpkins will be on display at the library from Oct. 28 – Nov. 3.
