The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds have been active on defense keeping volleys going.
The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds picked up their first conference win against Box Elder on September 28, sweeping the Bears 25-13, 25-16 and 25-10.
They began this last week with a match against the undefeated Geraldine/Highwood Rivals. The Thunderbirds competed hard and made the Rivals earn each point but fell in the first match 25-15, 25-16, 25-7 and match number two 25-9, 25-16, 25-14.
Saturday the girls hosted the Fort Benton Longhorns, the District 7C No. 2, in a Homecoming doubleheader. It was a special day for the Thunderbirds, getting a chance to honor their senior at the football game...
