We've Got The County Covered
During the month of December, we are continuing our “Bag of Books” Sale! We will give you a big bag and you can put as many books as you can fit in it for $3.00. We have had several donations recently, so there are some nice, new books, on the sale shelf.
“The Christmas Promise” by Richard Paul Evans is a heartwarming story of secrets, heartbreak, forgiveness, and the true meaning of Christmas. You will find a nice selection of other Christmas stories on our display table.
“Forgiving Paris” by Karen Kingsbury is a novel of forgiveness and hope in the City of Lights. “Go Tell the Bees That I am Gone” by Diana Gabaldon is book 9 in the Outlander series. “Sometimes I Lie” by Alice Feeney is a psychological thriller that asks: Is something really a lie if you believe it’s the truth? Alex Cross enters the final battle with the all-knowing genius who has stalked him and his family for years in “Fear No Evil” by James Patterson. Chief medical examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta hunts those responsible for two wildly divergent and chilling murders in “Autopsy” by Patricia Cornwell.
We continue to have a good turnout for our Code Girls United program, and we are so thankful for those who have volunteered to be instructors. We have a great group who are instructing the class. Code Girls is held Wednesday afternoons from 3:45-5:15 during the school year. We were able to purchase new laptops to use for this program, thanks to generous donors in our community. A huge shout out to Kenny Finley, who donated the proceeds from his Pumpkin Patch, which were used for a large portion of the computer order. We are so grateful to live in such a supportive community!
The Grinch will be the movie Friday December 10th at 1:30. It is rated PG and runs 1 hour and 26 minutes.
