We've Got The County Covered
Chinook senior Toby Niederegger was named this week as an Alternate to the 75th Annual Montana East/West Shrine game. The prestigious event features 40 of the best athletes across the state per team, covering all five school classifications. Typically as many as 26 alternates are chosen for the elite teams as well. In addition one Canadian athlete typically is selected per side to play as well.
To receive an invitation to play or be selected as an alternate is an honor few athletes get to experience. Niederegger was selected as a Wide Receiver following a year that saw him recognized as a Northern C All-State selection as well as an All-Conference selection. Niederegger joins a short list of 'Beeter alumni selected since moving to Class C becoming the seventh selection and the first since Lane Seymour in 2015.
