We've Got The County Covered
A huge shoutout to CHS Big Sky Chinook for their generous donation to the library. They donated to support our children’s programs. Their donation will enable us to provide snacks to the kids who participate in our afterschool programs.
We have seven new movies ready to go this week. “The Mitchells VS the Machines” has been named the best animated movie of the year. An old-school father and his plugged-in, filmmaker daughter struggle to relate as their family embarks on a road trip to her new college. Their drive is interrupted by a machine apocalypse that threatens to tear these unlikely heroes apart unless they can find a way to join forces and save humanity. “The Girl Who Believes in Miracles” is a religious drama. Both movies are rated PG. “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” is a Marvel movie and is rated PG-13. “Venom Let There Be Carnage” is also a Marvel movie, also rated PG-13. “Disney’s Jungle Cruise” starring Dwayne Johnson is an adventure filled ride down the Amazon River. “Respect” is the remarkable true story of Aretha Franklin’s journey to find her voice, during the turbulent social and political landscape of 1960s America. “Cry Macho” stars Clint Eastwood as a one-time rodeo star and washed-up horse breeder who, in 1978, takes a job from an ex-boss to bring the man’s young son home and away from his alcoholic mom. Crossing rural Mexico on their back way to Texas, the unlikely pair faces an unexpectedly challenging journey, during which the world-weary horseman may find his own sense of redemption through teaching the boy what it means to be a good man.
