Harlem Library
The library is celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday this week. Come in guess how the number of red fish, blue fish (crackers) and you may win the jar full! The Book Challenge for March is to read a book with a two word title. If you have completed the Feb. challenge please contact the library to be entered into the drawing. The library is again offering you an opportunity to “Buy a Bag O’Books” during the month of March. Buy a grocery sack full of used books for only one dollar! The Book Club’s new selection is “Moloka’i” can be picked up Mar. 7-11. The first discussion will be Mar. 14, 4 P.M. Families are invited to participate in the children’s programs: Story Time Tuesdays 10 A.M.; After School Squad Wednesdays 3:30; Lego Club Thursdays 3:30.
Bear Paw Cooperative
The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify. Blaine County Museum
Blaine County Museum is looking for volunteers to work Saturdays during the winter! We’re hoping to be open from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturdays beginning late November through March. Volunteers would open and close the museum, answer basic questions about the museum’s exhibits and collection, operate the museum’s documentary film, and make bookstore sales. The Harlem Food Bank IS OPEN.
Montana Seed Show
4H Seed samples need to be at the Blaine County Extension Office by March 1st. Needs to be between 10-15 lbs. Seeds need to be turned in by the afternoon of March 9th in Harlem.
Chinook Golf Course
The Annual Community Dinner and Auction Fundraiser for the Chinook Golf Course will be Saturday, June 25th at the Commercial Building. Save the Date!!
